Whole, clean and fully ripe figs are skewered and gently poached in a syrup of organic raw sugar, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, Rosnay port (2%), cinnamon, and cloves.
The whole fig is preserved and ready to serve on cheese platters, in cakes and desserts, on pizza with pruscutto or simply dolloped on crusty bread with a squeeze of lemon for pure indulgence. The spicy syrup can be drizzled on desserts, or brushed on spare ribs.
