Fresh Figs

When in season, fresh figs are one of the most delicious things you can eat! Every February and March we are blessed with a harvest of 7 different varieties of figs, including:

• Black Genoa: Early, black-purple skin and pink flesh, as often seen in shops
• Yellow Ischia: Early, yellow-green skin and golden yellow flesh, delicious tropical fruit and honey flavour
• “Rosnay Backyard”: Early-ish, green skin and red centred, our original figs, related to White Adriatic
• White Adriatic: Mid season, green skin and bright red flesh with intense flavour and sweetness.
• Other varieties that are more for cooking or late season: Brown Turkey, Purple Hollis and Prestons Prolific

In 2024 we are selling fresh figs to the public with 30 figs per tray, by pick-up from the farm only. Order online and pick up from our cool room. We suggest you bring an esky or at least keep them cool with air con or a blanket, and get them into the fridge as soon as possible.
