Flickerfest – 16 April 2026

Celebrating its 35th year, Flickerfest, Australia’s only Oscar® and BAFTA qualifying short film festival, and the country’s largest Australian & International short film competition, screens the best of shorts from Australia and the world, selected from over 3,700 entries; ensuring the presentation of A-list short film programmes recognised amongst the best in the world.

Flickerfest screens for 10 days under the summer stars at Bondi Beach in January, with selected highlights of the most entertaining and innovative short films touring the country on a 40+ venue national tour.

Flickerfest returns with this annual one-off chance for Canowindra audiences to see the Best of Australian Shorts programme of award winners and festival favourites officially selected for the Flickerfest National Tour.

Dinner will be again provided by our wonderful local Japanese food truck, Koyama kitchen, with the following menu:

Regular Bento Box:

All menus are gluten free.

Rosnay organic wine and grape juices will be available, and BYO alcohol is not permitted.
