Elyssa Storey Exhibition – July 2024
“The Bush & Beyond: Australia’s Seasonal Palette”
“The Bush & Beyond: Australia’s Seasonal Palette” is a celebration of the diverse seasons that decorate Australia’s countryside. I draw inspiration from my travels through the western region of NSW and the Riverina, where my emotional connection to the landscape seeps into my canvas, creating unique and emotive artworks. By using distinct palette knife textures and applying bright, bold colours in a loose manner, I aim to bring Australian landscapes, native flora, and agricultural beauty to life. This exhibition reflects my deep and personal connection to the land.
Opening at 6.00pm, on Saturday 6 July
Zac Craig – August 2023
“Jugs, Toe, Prose”
Craig’s main Art practice is entirely Non-representational yet he maintains a consistent habit of painting and creating oil studies from life.
This body of work sees Craig develop his life studies into poetic arrangements.
The viewer is provoked into imagining connections between the grouped studies which results in a narrative force far greater than each individual study on its own.
