Nomad String Quartet – 13 March 2026
$35.00
In 2014, the Danish String Quartet released Wood Works, a collection of their own arrangements of Scandinavian folksongs. These stunning pieces took the string playing world by storm, and their second volume Last Leaf was eagerly received in 2019.
The Nomads have hand picked their favourite numbers from both volumes, and the result is a Danish feast in five courses, ranging from poignant Faroese wedding songs to contemporary Swedish folk funk to blistering reels inspired by music of the British Renaissance – and everything in between!
The Nomads invite you to join them on an emotional journey through the landscape of the most beautiful music you’ve never heard!
Date: Friday 13 March
Time: 7pm to 9pm, with a short intermission.
Concertgoers are invited to come before the event for a wine tasting and light refreshments.
