Vintages: 2013 (current release)
In 2013, for the first time, Rosnay produced a white table wine without any sulfur dioxide to preserve it.
It is made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Semillon, in the same philosophy as the “Blanc”: a balance of the chardonnay fruit weight and the Semillon acidity and minerality.
The Freedom White has restained fruit character of white peaches, with a slight creaminess from 100% malolactic fermentation. Its nice acidity is balanced with a touch of residual sweetness. Serve chilled.
The wine is not made for ageing. Only a limited amount of this wine is produced each year to ensure that the wine is sold within 12 months of bottling.
The original label painting by Florence Statham is of the Ibis who are wonderful and frequent visitors to Rosnay.
